"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark."
-Michelangelo

Hi, I'm Amy.

Do you resonate with the quote above? It's a quote I live by because I really believe in stepping out of comfort zone, aiming high and exploring what works for each of us.

This is the place I'll share my journey moving across the world from Vancouver to Germany to attend grad school, seeking for new experiences, testing my limits and potentials.

Granted, it's not my first time studying abroad, I've been to Beijing and Seoul for 8 months (in total, in 2018 and 2019), but I'm SO excited to be moving for a FULL degree this time.

So keep in touch, email me and/or add me on Instagram. I promise I'll be sharing some fun stories and hot tips!!!

"I assure you that this is a magnificent place here."

Where's your favorite travel destinations? How often do you visit them?

Since I was young, I've LOVED travelling. My mom took me to Korea almost every year, and my family spent summers in China, Malaysia, etc. Singapore and HK are definitely one of my fav places in the world. Don't you just love how lively and rich so many cities are in Asia?

Now that I'm a grown up (or try to be),  I have the privilege of going to wherever I want to go and plan my trips how ever I want. I'm so grateful for this, knowing that this would not have been possible if I were born just a century ago or just a couple hundred miles north from Seoul.

Going back to the Asian cities I've been to multiple times in my childhood has its own charm, but visiting major cities in Europe I've never been to before makes me feel like I'm in a movie. You know, walking on cobblestones, ordering  some buttery croissants in French, all those stuff. Am I being like Emily (in Paris)? Well, I went to her apartment to take a picture so no shame here!

Anyway, here's a new chapter of my life in Germany. Follow along for an adventure of a lifetime!
